Refined ores increase the base bonuses of compatible bracelets, necklaces and earrings, such as the attack speed and base HP of a Silver Bracelet. Random bonuses added to the jewellery are not increased by refined ores.
To prepare a piece of jewellery, add slots with
Diamond. Each attempt has a 50% success chance. A piece of jewellery can have at most 3 slots.
Then insert the refined ore that matches the jewellery: for example,
Copper into
Copper Earrings or
Silver into
Silver Bracelet. Inserting a refined ore can fail.
Refined ores have a limited duration, which only runs down while the jewellery is worn. They are used up one at a time, starting with the last one added. When it expires, an empty slot remains and the duration of the next tier starts.
When you add a refined ore or drop to a lower tier, the timer gets the full duration for the number of refined ores remaining. No separate leftover time is kept for each ore.
Refined ore added | Duration | Nominal percentage increase | Nominal total increase |
|---|---|---|---|
First | 24 h | 10% | 10% |
Second | 12 h | 10% | 20% |
Third | 6 h | 20% | 40% |
A piece of jewellery with three freshly added refined ores uses them up in 42 hours of wear: 6 + 12 + 24 hours.
The increase of each bonus is rounded down. The total increase is at least +1 with one refined ore, +2 with two and +3 with three; that is why, for small bonuses, the effect is not always equal to the nominal percentage. The jewellery tables show the values for each refined ore.
From level 30, equip a
Pickaxe and click on a vein. The mining result appears in the chat.
One attempt takes 10–30 seconds and includes several strikes. At the end, a +0…+8 pickaxe receives one point, whether the mining succeeds or not, until it reaches the maximum points of its tier. The point is awarded per completed attempt, not per strike.

You buy a
Pickaxe +0 from Deokbae, in the second villages, for 80,000 Yang. The tool can be used from level 30.
When its points are full, unequip the pickaxe and hand it to Deokbae to upgrade it. On success, you receive the next tier with its points reset. On failure, the pickaxe keeps its tier and loses 10% of the points collected. +9 is the maximum tier.
Mining chance = 20% + pickaxe bonus + Mining skill bonus. The bonuses add up in percentage points. The last two columns show the total chance at Mining 0 and P respectively.
Pickaxe | Points to upgrade | Upgrade success | Mining bonus | Mining chance at Mining 0 | Mining chance at Mining P |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
+0 | 600 | 100% | +3 percentage points | 23% | 34% |

Accepted ores are refined by the Guild Alchemists. One attempt requires 100 pieces of ore and one accepted Spirit Stone. The chance is 60% with the specialist for that ore and 30% with a specialist for another ore.
Diamond Stone has a separate process: choose refining in the dialogue of the town Alchemist. One attempt uses 100 Diamond Stone, one Spirit Stone and 150,000 Yang, with a 50% success chance. The materials and the Yang are used up even on failure. The guild furnaces do not refine Diamond Stone.
The refined ores you obtain can be sold or used on compatible jewellery. Diamond is used to open slots.
The Mining skill is trained with three different books, depending on the grade. A higher skill level adds to the mining chance.
Book | Stage | Successful readings for the whole stage |
|---|---|---|
0 → M1 | 20 | |
M1 → G1 | 55 | |
G1 → P | 155 |
The numbers indicate successful readings, starting with no progress accumulated for that stage. Books can fail and are used up on every reading, so the number of copies needed may be higher.
Some levels require several successful readings before the level goes up. The mining bonus rises in thresholds, not after every reading. Below are examples of the bonus and total chance using a Pickaxe+0, whose bonus is 3 percentage points.
Skill level | Skill bonus | Total chance with Pickaxe+0 |
|---|---|---|
0 | +0 percentage points | 23% |
1–4 | +1 percentage point | 24% |
5 | +2 percentage points | 25% |
10 | +3 percentage points | 26% |
15 | +4 percentage points | 27% |
M1 | +5 percentage points | 28% |
M5 | +6 percentage points | 29% |
G1 | +8 percentage points | 31% |
G5 | +9 percentage points | 32% |
P | +11 percentage points | 34% |
